Delivery and Returns

Shipping Cost –  The cost of shipping is determined by the weight, size and number of packages that are being shipped as well as the distance of the destination address from our distribution centre.

Shipping rates can be obtained by simply adding the products to the cart and then entering your postcode and clicking the calculate shipping button. If you think our shipping costs are to high or you are in a regional town/location please Contact [email protected] directly. We can arrange for a more specialised service to try and keep these costs down as low as possible.

Delivery time – Orders are shipped out within 1-3 business days. Atomicmass saves no effort to guarantee a fast shipment of each and every package. However delays may occur during a busy season or conditions that are out of our hands. Note that some of equipment is made to order.  Couriers will not call prior to delivery so please select if you want your delivery let in a safe  place ( front porch etc)

Couriers – We use a number of courier services to provide the best possible shipping prices for our customers. Customer may select the shipping method and courier and in the vast majority of cases packages will be shipped with the selected courier. However, Atomicmass reserves the right to get the package shipped with a different courier due to logistic costs. In this case we will ship the package with an equivalent service level. Our shipping calculators provide an estimated time of arrival. Estimated time of arrival is an estimated date and it is not guaranteed that the package will arrive on that exact date. All deliveries are out of atomicmass equipment control and not liable for freight that goes missing.  Insurance for shipping is available on checkout or contact us for shipping insurance quote

Oversized Items – Due to weight/size restrictions oversized items are shipped with a freight company that may require a tail lift service. Freight charges vary depending on the weight of the item(s) and the destination it is being shipped to. Contact Rob directly at [email protected] if you think you require this service.


Tracking –  Tracking information normally becomes available several hours after the packages are picked up, however, in some cases during busy seasons it may take the shipping companies longer than usual to register the packages. Tracking numbers are automatically emailed to the customer as soon as the order is processed, however they become active only after picked up by the shipping company. Tracking number and details will be provided via email.  Please make a note if you would like your delivery left at a safe location if know one is home. (front door, back porch etc)

Should a package be returned to our warehouse or courier depot, it will be the customers responsibility to cover the cost of reshipping the package.

Multi-Box Shipments – In certain cases products can be combined and shipped together. Therefore, the number of packages arrive might be less than the amount of products that were purchased. This does not necessarily mean that some items are missing, it only means that some packages contain more than one item. Please always open all your packages prior reporting missing products to make sure nothing is actually missing.

Damaged upon arrival  If the Package arrive with visible physical damage to the box images should be taken  of damaged packages and  should be brought to the drivers attention. Then the content of the package should be carefully reviewed in order to guarantee that no damage was caused to the equipment. If the equipment did get damaged, please immediately report the damage to [email protected]  so that we can file a claim with the courier. Please note that the package must be kept in their original condition as the courier may require them for inspection.

RETURNS & REFUNDS – Purchases made online may be returned for a full refund (less shipping and handling) within 7 days of receiving the item(s). All merchandise for return must be in new condition, undamaged and sealed in its original packaging.  Atomicmass does not accept returns on items that are not sealed in their original packaging. If we need to replace the packaging a 15% restocking fee will apply and be deducted from the purchase price. Returned shipping costs are at the purchasers expense.

In order to return a product, you must obtain a return authorization. To do so, please email  [email protected] with the following information:

  • Subject line: Product return request
  • Body of e-mail: Please include your full name, phone number, order number and reason for return request

Shipping costs associated with the return are the customer’s responsibility. However, in the event that we have shipped an incorrect item, Atomicmass will be responsible to cover shipping and handling costs.

Please note: If item is sent back without obtaining a return authorization, we do not guarantee a refund or replacement. Refunds may take up to 14 days.

Atomicmass updates availability status on daily base, however in extremely rare occasions popular items sell out before we are able to update the availability status. In this case, any customer who purchases an item online that has recently gone out of stock will receive a timely email notification providing the customer with these options:

  1. Remove the backordered item and proceed with the rest of the order (We will automatically adjust the pricing and shipping to reflect the changes made to the order).
  2. Leave the order pending until all items are in stock.
  3. Cancel the order.

We will try our best to provide an ETA on backordered items but unfortunately it is not always possible to provide an exact date for the arrival of the out of stock item.
